On how to deal with adversity
Six elements to design a better life.

📚 One book recommendation
Stoicism is about discipline and moderation. It is about understanding the changing nature of the world, and it is also about what you can and cannot control. It is NOT about not feeling emotions. It’s about first understanding our emotions, then using the energy produced by anger, frustration, and other negative emotions and turning it into something you can use. When, in times of distress (how about a global pandemic?), you can for joy, fun, and awe, then you can call yourself a stoic.
The Stoic Challenge teaches good ways to face and even welcome setbacks. It’s a short book I’d recommend to anyone new to stoicism, as it’s easy to follow and grasp its many teachings. One of them was to see every obstacle and adversity in Life as a challenge from the “Stoic Gods,” who put up this obstacle to make you grow until you can safely jump over it.
💡 One idea to think about

How to deal with failures and setbacks? Just say to yourself: GOOD.
